The first Olympics

This year in 2012 the Olympics are going to be held in London on the 30th of July. The athletes practice and practice and then they wait for the Olympics to start. Famous people like Usain Bolt is one of the fastest people who broke a world record.

There are lots of sports at the Olympics. Did you know that he first marathon of the modern Olympic Games was run in 1896? It was won by a Greek runner called Spiridon Louis.

When the Olympics start I will go for Usain Bolt because he is one of the best runners.

My Holiday highlight

My holiday was cool because I went to this program where we could play around and go anywhere. But our first trip was the Long Bay beach. There were lots of activities there. When we hopped out of the bus we went to this hall and sat down to have our snacks and had a little play around.

The leader came and told us about the rules and safety because there were lots of cars on the road so she told us all of the rules. Then we went into a group and went to do a hard activity to don’t touch the ground with our feet.

Maths Whizz
