Cross Country

On Friday I went to go change my clothes in the boys toilets. I went to sit down in my line with the 12 years old group. When I was lining up to start the race I was nervous and kind of shaking a bit when Mr Burt was about to say go. I was ready to run but while waiting for Mr Burt to say go my legs were aching. Boom! went the clappers. I went to jog with my mates. As we were running Deedee was coming 1st out of the race.

We ran around the corner on the muddy and slippery ground. As I ran on the field, I entered the wet, puddly and gooey mud with my friends near the bush walk. As we were running through the scary brush walk we saw lots of trees and dirty water just on the side but when I got to the step and it  was slippery. So I took my time running and sometimes walking I stop and had a break near the Pt England gates. I was dizzy and kind of wobbling too.

I ran out to the fields and I saw Ms King and Mrs Lagitupu. I was running on the muddy ground and my shoes almost came out so I went around the cones to the dry grass. My legs were covered in mud even my shoes. I kept on running and I was close to the finish  line. I went near the 4 little wooden poles near the gate and ran my fastest to the finish line. I came 13th or 14th place but I didn’t care.

I was exhausted and thirsty and I felt great about it.
  

My Holiday highlight

My holiday was cool because I went to this program where we could play around and go anywhere. But our first trip was the Long Bay beach. There were lots of activities there. When we hopped out of the bus we went to this hall and sat down to have our snacks and had a little play around. 


The leader came and told us about the rules and safety because there were lots of cars on the road so she told us all of the rules. Then we went into a group and went to do a hard activity to don’t touch the ground with our feet.

Maths Whizz

This week I spent 68 minutes on Maths Whizz.

Mihi mihi

This Mihi mihi is all about me. We had to say a speech in front of the class. I hope you enjoy it.

Kane Camp

On Sunday I went to go and pack my stuff up for camp. When I did that I went to sleep and woke up in the morning and had breakfast I walk down to my School and put my bag in the hall. It was a raining day and my team and I went to do roller blades and table tennis I did roller blades first.

It was my first time blading in my whole life. I went to go around the whole school and it was pretty good I was racing and doing moves but Potaua was the best. I took of the roller blades and play table tennis I was the best at table tennis but then Dillon came and wasted me.

After that I did the amazing race. My partner and I spilt in two my other partner went to go and get the egg and fire and I got wood and tin we got ready and put the tin on the ground. So we light up the fire and cook up the egg we use the spoon to flip the egg over so it can’t get burnt and we were the first one to make ours.

Picnic

On Friday my class and I went to the picnic. We got ready and call out the roll and after that we went to the hall, Mr Burt was counting how much parents was coming with us. When Mr Burt did that we walk down to the beach and sat down again so Mr Burt told us the roles about safety and then we could play but we put our bag down by the tree and went out to play.

First I went to go and set up the Cricket and my mates came and help me set up the Cricket. I was the first one to bat so when my friend throw the ball I was ready to wrack the ball hard I ran 9 times and then I got tired and my friend got me out I took a rest under the tree and ate my lunch. I got back up and walk around the sand and then I went to go and build me a sand castle and busting it down and redo it again.

I saw the little kids playing and throwing tiny rock, splashing and swimming. It was my turn to swim and then I went to go and jump into the sea water I went on someone Else back and playing water fight in the sea water. And when we went to go and leaf so I got ready and got change in to my uniforms I got my bag and went back to school and sat down in my class.

I waited for the bell to ring and went back home and fell asleep My best part was swimming.

At the beach

On Sunday I got ready to go to the beach with my family. We went to point England beach the tired was in and I put some sunblock on and went in to the sea water but I was just booming of the rock. The sea water was cold but then I got use to it I went by the dip part of the rock and boom of it was like a cold freezing ice cube. I got out of the water and started skimming rocks in to the water’ we were having lost of challenge we made sandcastle and we play hide and seek.

My Brother Anthony was in he started counting and I went to the park and hiding by the side he came looking for me and he took 5 minute to find me and then it got boring so we play touch. with my mate next door by my house he came and play with us and these big boys came and started playing but then they change the game to rugby and they were hard they were like Kingston size that one of there name was Shane. One of my player got Hart so we stop playing and we did something else I had 3 minute left to go home so I went for a swim and boom of the rock.

I went to go and eat fish and chip after that I went home and went to sleep and my best part was touch.

The Treaty of waitangi

On 6th of February 1840 the Treaty of waitangi was signed. The Maori signed the treaty with the British. But some Maori were not happy to sign. There was a lot of clashes and conflict between Maori and Pakeha at the time.

There were arguments and disagreements at the treaty. A man called William Hobson and James Busby wrote a draft of the treaty. The Maori Tribes were angry because they did not understand the British Interests.

So a man named Henry Williams translated English into Maori so that the people of te reo Maori could understand. After he translated the Maori knew what they wanted and had a discussion. After the talk the Maori people wanted to sign the Maori version of the treaty.

The people were happy and all signed the treaty. William Hobson did a speech, “he iwi tahi tatou” we are all one people. They were all happy and celebrated. The principles of the treaty the 3 p’s: Protection, Partnership, and Participation.

Rainbows End

In the holidays I went to Rainbows End with my family. My Mum payed for the bands so we could get in and then we could play on the pirate-ship. We went in and went to the pirate-ship, it was so cool it was going so high that I was screaming and then we went off. After that my Dad picked his next activity and it was this racing car but I was too small so I went in this 3D to watch the dinosaur movie.

I put on my 3D classic and when the movie played the chair was moving and it felt real. I got out and went by the entry to get ready and go home. I was waiting for all of them to come and when they got there we took a photo by the the door.

Rainbows End was a lot of fun.

Space Presentation

Weekend

On Sunday I went to the beach with my family. I was waiting for the water to come in but it took long to get in. I just made sandcastle and there was a big rock with water in it that why got so dirty and wash my self down. After that I saw my friend Studamyer we throw rock at the sea.

And then we went home.

Alien

On 2012 when the earth going to end I went to Mars and saw alien. I did not no what to do but peeing my pants but the alien did not kill me so we just had a talk. After the that we just play games and it was hide in go seek but I just went in my ship and I went and few away.

Camp 2

So I went walking to my cabin and buddy was Jesiah, Dillon, Lorenzo and studz but he was not here so my team got ready and got change into our own cloths to started our Activity So we all got ready and went down to swimming. There was fish and lots of thing at the beach so I watch my friends swim and booming in to the beach and then we move to our other Activity was rock climbing. This was my best high light for camp I went up first and then my friend Jesiah did it so fast and he did the moon walk. 1 Horus later we started to pack up and then we went to the boat and went back to school and went that for today bye.

Camp 1

On Monday I got ready for camp. I got all of my staff ready for camp at night time and name them so I went to bed and had a good sleep. I woke up in the morning at 7am I got ready and brush my teeth and said bye Mum and Dad and I went to camp but we reload all of our bag on the bus and went to Kawa island. I was watching TV on the bus and it was a very very long ride so I fell asleep in the bus and then I woke up and we got there.

We unload the bus and put them on the boat and went to Kawa island. It took like 1 Horus to get there but I didn't care so me and my friend Jesiah play some games on the boat. After that we got their and the water was so cold that my friend went to go and swim but I didn’t? to be Continue go down to part 2 bye

Film festival

On Wednesday my class and I went to the hall. First we had to go on the bus and we went there when we got there we went to go and walk to the movie but it was not far to walk there and the little kids came with us. After the that we have to hold the kids hand we went and in size the movie and sat down and waited I was watching the add of the paranormal activity 3. It was so scary that I was going to run away but I didn't so I face the other way and waited for the movie to start.

Finally the movie begin and the first movie was billy t that won was my best one. It show him being funny and singing all kind of staff bye.

Holiday

In the holiday I went to the movie with my family. The movie we watch was the spy kids in 4D we by pop corn and a drink and waited for the movie to begin. 5 minute later it started it was talking about the time keeper and try to get the ring so the step Mum help the spy to catch him. The girl always get in trouble and the boy and they always play games and then it came to the last part and the hole family come and save the day that all for to day spy kids.

immersions Assembly

On Tuesday the 25 of October we had immersions Assembly. My class and I we went to go and set down in the hall my teacher dress up as a planets.Then Mr Burt came he was talking about our topic which was outta this World and telling a story part of our topic it was about Maui. He was the one who could New Zealand that why he told us and then term 5 movie started and it was star wars.

It show them fighting. The movie was funny the face was cut of and it was like kind of real bye.

Rugby

Hi this is my picture that I draw. I draw Dan carter, Richie Mccaw, Johna- lomu and Billy salter Just for my post about the rugby but my favourite player is Johna lomu. Hes one of the best player because he run up and tackle them that why he my favourite player. Who do you racket who the best player My one is Johna lomu your one could be Dan carter or any of the all blacks.

Sneeze

Once upon a time there was a boy called Kane he use to live in New Zealand but then he move to Canada. He went to this school called point England his class was room 16 he Met this boy call studamyer but his short name is studz but I just call him studz. After school we went to studz house we play some x box 360 and then we play at the back of his house we play some rugby and then I fell down and I got bitten buy a bug. I felt like I was going to died so I past out and my friend took me home and I woke up and felt bettor then I went to school.

So I went to class and I was doing my work and I felt asleep. And then my friend woke me up an I felt like had a cold but I didn't I told my teacher can I have a drink of water and my teacher said yes. So I got up and had a drink of water and then I came back and then I did the biggest sneeze and then my friend was shook?
